Bamboo supports a comprehensive range of workplace tools to suit the way you work:
- IM integration for immediate feedback.
- Email notifications, containing exact details of failing tests, plus useful links for drilling down on the build results.
- Customisable RSS feeds, e.g. by label.
Specific build information can also be embedded as widgets within other applications.

Bamboo's instant messaging (IM) notification capabilities allow personalised real-time notification. This faster feedback loop results in quicker fixes and hence better build quality.
Out-of-the-box, Bamboo integrates with the industry standard Jabber IM servers, for example, public networks such as Google Talk or internal servers such as Openfire.
Customisable notification criteria
Getting the right 'volume' of notifications about your builds is difficult. Send too many notifications and developers begin to ignore them. Send too few and important information can go unnoticed.
Bamboo provides flexible criteria for determining who, how and when to send notifications about build statuses. With dynamic roles in notification rules, Bamboo makes it even easier to pick the user to be notified.
