¡Hola, Barcelona! flag: Spain

We’re stoked to be here on the ground for Team ‘24 Europe. Atlassian supports more than 120,000 customers in the EMEA region and they represent some of the most innovative companies anywhere. As they push the world forward in every kind of industry – from air travel to drug discovery, retail to financial services – we’re proud to be by their side, and excited for a fantastic week ahead.

These organizations are moving fast. Atlassian is focused on two critical things to help them stay ahead: AI Innovation that will transform teamwork, and connecting teams in a deliberate System of Work to power their businesses forward. 20+ years of teamwork data and insights from working with the best teams in the world mean we’re uniquely placed to deliver on both… and we’re pretty damned excited about what we are delivering.

So let’s get going! rocket

1. Welcoming AI to the team

AI is changing the fabric of teamwork. We believe the teams of the future will include AI teammates, and we’ve been pushing hard to get AI innovation into our customers’ hands as quickly as possible. We launched Atlassian Intelligence last year to make AI available across our cloud products, and have already delivered 30+ new features to empower teams and enhance productivity. Today, there’s even more:

Atlassian Rovo is now generally available for all customers 🤖

I don’t foresee a future where we don’t have it.” That’s how one beta customer reacted to Rovo, our new AI-powered product that helps teams unlock organizational knowledge. Since we announced Rovo in May, it’s been helping beta users get sh*t done in ways not previously possible: unlocking enterprise search for their entire organization, distilling company info into personalized chat, and deploying specialized Rovo Agents to save hours of work. Just five months later, we’re delivering Rovo into general availability. With early feedback showing nearly 75% of users getting work done faster with Rovo – we’re excited to see what customers do with it.

Introducing dev-focused AI agents to speed up development 🚀

This one’s for you, dev teams. AI has made great strides in assisting you in code completion, but isn’t doing much to address the tasks that get in the way of development velocity and quality. We’re looking to change all that with a new, early access program of dev-focused AI Agents that can automatically generate code plans, code recommendations, and pull requests – and then fast-track PR reviews.

But that’s not all of what we’ve delivered in AI today. Check out all the innovations including Rovo Search, Rovo Chat, ready-to-go Agents, and native improvements to Atlassian Intelligence.

2. Unleashing all teams via a System of Work

The System of Work is a philosophy of how a technology-driven organization should work, connecting technology and business teams to accelerate progress and maximize team impact.

Accelerating your teams doesn’t help much if they’re all running in different directions. From our experience working with some of the world’s most innovative organizations, we’ve developed a perspective on what makes great teams tick. Successful companies are the ones that excel at bringing the tech and business sides of their organization together in a deliberate System of Work where they all can align to goals, work together, and share knowledge.

Atlassian delivers the products and practices that bring these teams together. And today, we’re making a number of announcements to keep helping transform siloed companies into connected ones:

Announcing Focus, Atlassian’s enterprise strategy and planning solution 🔍

For enterprise leaders, ensuring people and funds are being deployed across the right priorities is a constant challenge. Atlassian Focus is here to solve that – providing a central hub to map and track goals, work, teams, and funds against strategic priorities.

And, the new Jira is finally here

Earlier this year, we unveiled the next evolution of Jira – a shared place for every team to plan and track work. Today, we’re announcing new features (and a new look!) that make Jira easier, more flexible, and more powerful for all types of work, and all types of teams. Read more in the blog about the new Jira.

Atlassian’s mission is to unleash the potential of every team, and I have never been so pumped by all we are delivering to achieve that. Follow all our Team ’24 Europe announcements here, and, to those joining us in Barcelona, here’s to a great few days ahead!

Let’s go, Team ’24 Europe!
