Featured add-on: No Email Storm – Forget to clear Notify Watchers checkbox for minor corrections? Replace it with Save&Notify button in addition to standard Save.
You love Confluence because it gives your team a shared space to collaborate, access the collective knowledge of a talented group, and encourage the type of open discussion that leads to breakthroughs and new ideas. Confluence presents you with the ability to discover exciting solutions and inspired answers. The one thing you don’t need is clutter. And the one thing you never want to be is ‘That Guy’ who is the cause of clutter.
Look, we’ve all been there. You’re making those little edits, you’re on autopilot, breezing through your checklist of quick fixes before lunch. You’re so focused on getting out of the office to grab your kale shake that you neglected to uncheck Notify Watchers, and then — BAM — you’re That Guy. Luckily, there’s a simple, elegant solution for this all too common problem. No Email Storm is the quick and easy way out of this avoidable blunder.
No Email Storm is an add-on that completely replaces the Notify Watchers checkbox. Instead of that checkbox, you’re presented with a clearly visible Save & Notify button. The Save & Notify button is easily accessible since it’s right next to the Save button.
Are you doing some serious editing or just a simple clean up? Do you want to save a page without sending a notification to page watchers? It’s as simple as clicking Save. Of course, sometimes all of your hard work needs to be shared. In that case, click Save & Notify to let everyone know the changes you’ve made.
With the No Email Storm add-on for Confluence, you can forever avoid being ‘That Guy.’
