F1 fans: Start your engines.
Today, we’re excited to announce a long-term partnership with Williams Racing, one of the most successful teams in Formula 1 history. Under the partnership, Atlassian becomes the Official Title Partner and Official Technology Partner of this storied team – known from today on as Atlassian Williams Racing.
To say we’re honored and excited is an understatement – we think this is a partnership for the ages. Formula 1 is defined by high-stakes teamwork and innovation. Both Atlassian and Williams were founded on teamwork. For Williams, that has resulted in 114 wins and 16 Championships. For Atlassian, it means supporting more than 300,000 organizations with our industry-leading, AI-powered collaboration software.
Williams is now at an inflection point. As the 48-year-old team undergoes a transformation to get back to the front of the grid, Atlassian will be by its side to connect teams, helping them collaborate and innovate at scale.
A storied Williams team, eyeing a comeback
The legendary Williams made its mark on F1 with its commitment to excellence, organization, and teamwork. Today, they strongly believe that innovating their ways of working will fuel a renewed era of success. Given the complex layers of teamwork required to win – from the pit crew to corporate teams and tech teams – this requires not just cutting-edge technology, but rigorous alignment to goals and seamless collaboration across teams, with success measured in milliseconds.
Atlassian’s System of Work, driving organizations forward
These are challenges that Atlassian thrives in solving. In working with some of the best teams in the world for more than 20 years, Atlassian has developed a System of Work for technology-driven companies: a deliberate teamwork approach that emphasizes connecting all teams, and leveraging AI to maximize impact and accelerate innovation.
As Williams’ Official Technology partner, Atlassian will be helping them implement that System of Work through our portfolio and cloud platform to unleash a new winning era.
There’s more. You’ll also see Atlassian featured trackside and prominently on the 2025 Formula 1 car that will be unveiled at the F1 75 event next week, and driven on racetracks around the world throughout the 2025 season. (Hi, Alex Albon and Carlos Sainz . BIG FANS
