Another DevDay in the books! Close to two thousand developers across the globe came together to exchange experiences and learn from each other virtually at DevDay: The Meetup. The event provided a platform for developers to explore the latest trends, gain insights, and harness their skills to thrive in a rapidly evolving ecosystem. Let’s dive into the event highlights.
Unveiling Top Priorities for Marketplace Partners
Kicking off the event with great enthusiasm, Keran McKenzie, the Head of Product, Ecosystem Platform, delivered an impactful opening keynote. Keran shed light on the top three priorities for Marketplace partners this year. These priorities include building for cloud, and investing in data residency and compliance certifications.
The keynote was followed by three partner-led sessions full of practical advice, each aligned to one of the prioritized focus areas:
- Building Complex Apps in Forge – Marketplace partners, Appfire, Adaptivist & Seibert Media shared their recent challenges and successes building apps in Forge in a candid fireside chat led by Atlassian Product Marketing Manager, Karen White.
- Data Residency for Connect Apps– K15t has been a front-runner in offering app data residency. In this session, k15t dives into what data residency means for apps and why it’s important to customers, as well as the technical challenges and hurdles K15t overcame to implement the feature.
- Using Vanta for ISO 27001 compliance– While valuable to prove the strength of an app’s security posture, achieving certification can be quite time consuming, especially for startups. yasoon shared how they were able to achieve ISO 27001 compliance in a streamlined way with Vanta.
