The Role:
We're Hiring a Chief Of Staff (CoS), to Support our Head of Product for Work Management for All. Our Work Management products, including Confluence, Loom, and Trello, empower all teams within organizations to effectively plan, track, communicate, and collaborate both within and across their teams. The primary objective is to enhance our customers' efficiency in teamwork while minimizing unnecessary tasks. As Chief Of Staff (CoS), your role is critical - you will help to unlock new opportunities and act as an advisor and force multiplier for our ambitious growth objectives. You will provide strategic support in managing day-to-day operations, drive cross-functional alignment, and foster effective decision-making. You will serve as a trusted advisor and proxy to our Head of Product, collaborating closely with other functional leaders and senior executives across design, engineering, sales, and product marketing. This position will be responsible for enabling seamless communication, orchestrating key initiatives, and ensuring successful execution.
This role necessitates leadership skills, organization , written and verbal communication, strategic thinking, and the capacity to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Some of the great work you will do:
Strategic Support: Collaborate with the Head of Product and executive team to define and execute Atlassian's strategic goals and initiatives, ensuring alignment across the organization. Assist with facilitating key business meetings and staying on-top of org-wide initiatives.
Operations Optimization: Streamline operational processes, identify opportunities for efficiency gains, and drive effective resource allocation to enhance overall productivity. Identify areas for opportunity and set up operations, systems and teams when necessary.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Facilitate collaboration and communication among different departments and teams, bridging gaps and fostering alignment. Stay Ultimately fostering a culture of transparency and shared goals.
Project Management: Directing strategic business initiatives from development through successful execution, overseeing timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes.
Executive Leader: Manage initiatives on behalf of the leader and team, echoing key priorities and planning action on next steps. Attend meetings, take notes and help prioritize to execute executive vision.

Solutions oriented leader with demonstrated success in leading high-impact, cross-functional programs in fast-growing organizations.

Success leading without influence, earning trust with key stakeholders and serving as a proxy to augment the leader with the single purpose of making the TEAM successful.
Relationship Manager, with an ability to navigate several organizations and leaders, bridging gaps and fostering collaboration.
An analytic prowess, drive to support decisions with data, and the ability to make data digestible to varied audiences.
Experience communicating complex concepts to a variety of audiences, connecting dots and people, and capturing and sharing important messages.
Qualifications
10+ years of relevant work experience in program management, operations, product management, or business strategy is required, including at least 1 year in a Chief of Staff role.
Exceptional verbal, written, and facilitation skills, with experience in conducting meetings and interacting with an executive audience.
This is a remote position, however to help our teams work together effectively, this role requires you to be located in the Pacific time zone.
Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $231,500 - $308,600
Zone B: $208,300 - $277,800
Zone C: $192,100 - $256,200
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
