To help our teams work together, this role requires you to be located in Poland. This role can be performed remotely or onsite in our office in Gdańsk. You can also work remotely worldwide for a maximum of 90 days per year.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager interested in working on mature products which are mostly feature complete. Our Data Center strategy is to keep the trust of our largest enterprise customers who use our on-prem software and cannot move to our cloud solutions. This role will also require thinking about what we can do in Data Center to accelerate customer transition to Cloud products as well as building close collaboration with Jira Cloud team to ensure that we unblock customers on their journey to Cloud.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Product Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping and driving the roadmap for key areas of Jira DC and related initiatives, towards our Cloud strategy. Your work will be instrumental in advancing our mission to unlock the potential of every team by driving our enterprise strategy for the on-premises editions of Jira DC. You will focus on the strategic pillars of the Data Center product line, including security and compliance, performance & scale, high availability, flexible deployment options and to improving the quality of life of our users. Your work will impact thousands of customers, including industry leaders.

Scope of role:

  • plays a key role in defining and driving a significant part of the Jira DC product charter

  • aligns OKRs, decisions and actions with company's priorities and strategy

  • establish priorities and coordinate with teams to build a roadmap that respond to business needs

  • collaborate with engineering and design to ensure successful delivery of high-quality customer value

  • collaborate with product marketing and maintain a strong relationship with internal stakeholders (Support, Field Teams) to ensure customer success

  • collaborate with Jira Software Cloud teams to help customers transition from on-prem to Cloud products

  • maintain strong relationships with customers and identify new business opportunities aligned with company strategy


Qualifications

You love working closely with customers and solving complex enterprise problems. You have prior success driving strategies focused on customer retention and success. You are effective in inspiring a team through setting clear goals, making decisions, and communicating crisply to all audiences. You are passionate about working with a cross-functional, geographically distributed team to build and deliver mission-critical capabilities for customers. You're social and adept at building relationships across product lines and functional groups to make sure we are all on the same page.

On the first day, we’ll expect you to have

  • Deep product management experience, ideally working on mature products for enterprise customers

  • Knowledge about the industry, market and competitive landscape

  • Experience in building compelling strategies and deriving roadmaps to empower teams and inspire senior stakeholders

  • Customer-centric, enjoy working directly with design and engineering to ship delightful products

  • Strong in prioritising among opportunities, balancing the needs of our customers with those of our business, and clearly communicating the rationale behind your decisions

  • Good instincts matched with deep analytical thinking.

  • Comfortable defining and tracking key business and success metrics

  • An effective relationship builder and able to influence without authority

  • Confident speaker, able to communicate at any depth on the product from strategy to technical details, adjusting their language accordingly for any audience

It's great, but not required if you have:

  • BS/BA with an emphasis in technology, IT or operations; Masters or MBA
    preferred

  • Experience working on enterprise-focused areas (B2B)

  • Previous experience in the fields of project management, collaboration,
    and enterprise software
