Atlassian is looking for an Global Head of AI Solutions Sales to drive our Artificial Intelligence offerings in market as an overlay to our high-touch Account Executive teams. Our team will provide customers with strategic leadership in how they transform their workforce by leveraging AI solutions to accelerate business outcomes. This leadership includes close collaboration with the sales, solution engineer, product, and marketing teams to develop and execute tactics for successful customer change management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, a deep understanding of AI industry trends, and the ability to effectively prioritize efforts to optimize for maximum territory impact.

The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of executive selling expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership skills.

What You'll Do

  • Drive growth in AI sales by effectively executing and iterating upon our go-to-market strategy in a highly dynamic market.

  • Manage the team to develop and execute territory plans to sell to customers based on their business needs.

  • Build, iterate and execute a repeatable motion across your team to discover and prioritize compelling AI workflows and use cases and quantify business impact of investment

  • Build, iterate and execute a repeatable motion across your team to strategize with customers on change management tactics to ensure solution is adopted broadly.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with senior-level clients, particularly C-level executives and decision-makers.

  • Manage the team as they lead the sales cycle from opportunity identification to closing, managing various stakeholders.

  • Serve as a customer advocate, relaying feedback to enhance solutions. Share the insights acquired with the entire team, including the product, marketing, and sales/solutions leadership teams.

  • Accurately forecast and report on revenue opportunities and track deal progression.

  • Collaborate with channel partners and advisory services to create tailored solutions that effectively tackle the unique challenges faced by clients.

Your background

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience managing sales teams, ideally specializing in DevOps, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) Tools, Application Lifecycle Management, Digital Transformation and with some AI experience.

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience managing a global team and experience with consumption billing models.

  • A track record of surpassing targets showcasing proven techniques for achieving success.

  • Ability to establish and nurture executive relationships with senior decision-makers in AI space.

  • Effective at influencing across all levels up to the C-suite through strong communication, collaboration and presentation skills. You set the bar in terms of communication effectiveness while bringing teams, peers and leadership along on the journey.

  • Collaboration is key. Utilize your experience in closely collaborating with extended sales teams and channel partners to achieve successful client outcomes. Proactively seek opportunities to instigate change and disrupt the status quo in a positive manner.

  • Traveling as necessary to meet with clients, attend industry events, and participate in conferences.

  • Ability to thrive in a rapidly evolving and fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to navigate, work and collaborate successfully in a matrixed sales organization

  • Experience using CRM to manage opportunities, accurately forecast and correlate sales metrics to individual performance

  • Exceptional critical and creative thinking skills including evaluating risks and contingencies, developing structure in ambiguity, connecting the dots and flexibility in accepting new ideas or pivoting

  • Demonstrate leadership qualities throughout your work – taking ownership of challenges, supporting your colleagues and setting the standard for quality in your deliverables

  • Professional-level fluency in English


Compensation

At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:

Zone A: $196,500 - $262,000

Zone B: $176,900 - $235,800

Zone C: $163,100 - $217,500

This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
