Keep your team updated on what everyone is doing each day.
Offering an asynchronous check-in allows your team to share updates without disrupting their workflow. A daily stand up can promote accountability and collaboration through daily communication. All team members should provide their priorities, progress, and problems each day in this report.
Ask all team members to like and watch the template page created on your team site so they can fill in the daily stand up each week. Choose a specific time you’d like to get the update, whether it be first thing in the morning, midday, or at the end of the work day. Invite others to comment or add emojis to encourage interactivity to the page.
Add your name and photo, which can change weekly and be a fun way to bring a hint of personalization. For each day of that week, you will add your priorities, progress, and problems that have arisen. If there’s something that another teammate could possibly help with, you can @ mention them to alert them to your issue.
Once the week is over, copy and paste last week’s panel to start the stand up for next week. You can do this on Friday as you finish for the week, on Sunday night to prepare for Monday, or on Monday before the stand up is due. It’s totally up to you!
