Reflect as a team and come up with actionable learnings.
Facilitate a collaborative session with your team to reflect on and action learnings. Use this template as a way to share perspectives, create a safe space for feedback, celebrate wins, and identify ways in which everyone can work better together moving forward.
This is a safe space for openly sharing feedback:
Listen with an open mind
Remember that everyone’s experience is valid
Share as much as you’re comfortable with
Focus on improvement, rather than placing blame
This template is from The "4 Ls" Retrospective Technique | Atlassian
Before getting started with the retrospective, take some time to set the tone with the team.
Share what inspired this retro, provide any context, and note any action items from the last retrospective that the team should keep in mind.
Add your thoughts to each section using sticky notes: Loved, Longed for, Loathed, and Learned . Try and keep to one thought per sticky note.
Ask questions about any of the sticky notes you’re unsure about.
Group together sticky notes that have similar themes.
Use stamps and select 3 themes in each section that you most want the team to address.
Talk through the top voted themes or any others anyone wants to call out. Add anything that needs to be noted or accomplished after the discussion as an action item.
