Is my company eligible for Atlassian for Startups?

Your company must meet all of the following criteria to be eligible for Atlassian for Startups:

  • Your company is not an existing Atlassian paid customer
  • VC funded or associated with a partner accelerator and/or incubator
  • Have not raised more than US$10 million in external funding

If your company meets the criteria above, you are eligible to apply for Atlassian for Startups and, if approved, you get included Atlassian Cloud products for $0 for 12 months for up to 50 users, except for Jira Product Discovery, which includes 10 free creator users and unlimited contributors.

How do you verify applications?

Our team reviews every application to confirm accuracy and eligibility. If we have questions about your application, our team will reach out via email. You may be asked to provide additional information in order to verify eligibility, such as proof of funding (e.g., Crunchbase or Pitchbook profile).

What is the duration of the Atlassian for Startups program?

Atlassian for Startups is an ongoing program and each eligible startup can enroll for one 12-month period.

What should I expect at the end of the 12-month Atlassian for Startups period?

Before the end of your 12-month offer period, you will have the option to renew or cancel any of the Atlassian for Startups products you are using at that time.

What happens if I need to add more than 50 users (or more than 10 creators specifically for Jira Product Discovery) before the end of the 12-month period?

If you need to expand beyond the 50-user maximum (or for Jira Product Discovery specifically, the 10-creator maximum), you will need to upgrade to a paid version of the product(s).
