Atlassian Data Center continues to provide a stable, controlled self-managed environment for organizations with specific regulatory or technical needs, empowering you to deliver your mission-critical work as you plan for your organization’s future.

Our upcoming FY26 price change reflects our ongoing investment in the security, scale, and support you depend on.

This year’s update ensures you continue to benefit from:

  • Ongoing security enhancements, and long-term support to protect your Data Center footprint until your transition to cloud.
  • Reliable, performant, and scalable environments, with dedicated support and critical fixes to keep your operations running smoothly.

Over the past year, we’ve delivered new platform releases, long-term support (LTS) releases, and unlocked new joint cloud and self-managed use cases. For a detailed look at the features shipped and planned, visit the Data Center roadmap.

Jira Data Center

  • OpenSearch support for Jira - experience faster search and indexing performance with OpenSearch integration in Jira Data Center.
  • Service Accounts - non-human identities designed for automations, integrations, scripts, and apps that need to interact with your Atlassian Data Center instance.
  • Instance optimization and insights recommendation - monitor the health and performance of your Jira instances with tailored insights and recommendations across system guardrails and performance indicators.
  • Jira Product Discovery integration with Jira Data Center for Delivery - connect Jira Product Discovery with Jira Data Center (DC) to streamline the discovery and delivery process in product organisations using Jira DC. Product managers will be able to connect ideas with delivery tickets in Jira DC and track the delivery progress.
  • Jira Data Center connector for Rovo - this connector enables Cloud-based AI capabilities without full cloud transformation, allowing data synchronization from Jira Data Center to Rovo in Atlassian Cloud. Rovo centralizes knowledge from various platforms, offering a unified search view and enhancing productivity with AI-driven insights and personalized responses, all while preserving existing infrastructure.
  • A recent long-term support release introduced Create Linked Issue screen improvements, expanded automation with customizable smart values, and delivered major accessibility enhancements for users with disabilities.
  • The Jira 11.3 platform release introduced personalized accessibility settings, enhanced the Jira Data Center mobile app for better on-the-go management, and delivered new capabilities in Advanced Roadmaps for improved planning and tracking.

Confluence Data Center

  • Service Accounts - non-human identities designed for automations, integrations, scripts, and apps that need to interact with your Atlassian Data Center instance.
  • Instance optimization and insights recommendation - monitor the health and performance of your Confluence instances with tailored insights and recommendations across system guardrails and performance indicators.
  • Improved performance for adding Jira issue dates in Team Calendars - we’ve addressed a performance issue with a REST API call in Team Calendar when adding Jira issue dates.
  • Create blog posts from templates - create a page from a template and then convert it to a blog post.
  • Confluence Data Center connector for Rovo - connect Confluence Data Center to Rovo to unify your organization’s knowledge, supercharge discovery with AI-powered search, and unlock the benefits of cloud innovation, empowering your teams to find, share, and act on information faster, no matter where it lives.
  • Aligned editor shortcuts with Confluence Cloud - experience a smoother, more intuitive editing workflow in Confluence Data Center with new shortcuts that mirror Confluence Cloud, making it easier for your teams to collaborate, stay productive, and transition seamlessly between platforms.
  • A recent long-term support release delivered zero performance regressions, improved admin controls for sensitive operations, and enhanced upgrade safety.
  • The Confluence 10.2 platform release sets a new security and integration standard for self-managed customers by enabling app sign-in by default, introducing Content Security Policy protections, and supporting OAuth 2.0 for secure app links.
