We remain committed to enhancing Data Center, our premier self-managed offering, focused on improving performance at scale, trusted enterprise-grade security and compliance, and modernizing native product capabilities to help boost productivity. In the last 12 months, we’ve launched several new features designed to better collaborate and get work done, such as configurations and auto-managed sprints for Jira Software, importing Assets at scale in Jira Service Management, and emojis and import/export for Confluence.

Jira Software
- Integrity checker performance improvements Work efficiently with faster responses from the workflow integrity checker and a new progress bar for long-running tasks to avoid timeouts.
- Avatar files on AWS S3 Store Jira avatar file in AWS S3 object storage for better scalability, security, and availability.
- Removal of high-severity accessibility defects Ensure a broader range of users can effectively work with the removal of high-severity accessibility defects in some of the most popular product scenarios.
- Secret manager integration Minimize security exposure and manage infrastructure credentials with a Secret Manager integration such as AWS Secret Manager or HashiCorp Vault.
- Session invalidation for clustered environments Address session invalidation challenges with an easy, cluster-wide propagation of changes alongside new centralized controls allowing administrators to invalidate user sessions.
- Optimized visibility permissions for restricted projects Increase work clarity by @mentioning, assigning, and viewing reporters restricted to a specific project.
- Updated VPAT for Section 508 compliance Updated Voluntary Product Accessibility Templates (VPAT) to review how the product addresses Section 508 of the U.S. Rehabilitation Act.
- Empty custom field configuration Show or hide empty custom fields from an issue view.
- Queue in-line editing Enable agents to quickly and easily update commonly used fields from the queue view.
- Auto-managed sprints Save time by automatically setting sprint start and end dates.
- Automated archiving Expand Jira’s automation capabilities with new archiving actions and triggers.
- Custom field context schemes Navigate custom fields easily with a new layout and workflow for administering custom field contexts.

Confluence
- Copy space Copy a space and all its pages, permissions, and configuration in one easy step.
- Space reindexing Save time by re-indexing a specific space rather than running a full site reindex in Confluence.
- Site and space import/export improvements Giving admins better visibility and control over site and space import/export tasks when moving data between Confluence instances. Speed and reliability have also been improved.
- Java 17 as default Shipping Confluence with Java 17 bundled as default will provide optimal performance and all benefits of new Java capabilities.

- Emoji experience Express yourself with improvements to the editor, beginning with the ability to easily select and insert newly inbuilt emojis. This will be followed in a subsequent release with support for your own custom emojis.
- Captions for images Add captions to images in Confluence pages and blogs.
- Vertical alignment of table cell content align content to the top, middle, or bottom within a table cell.
