Product-Specific Terms for Statuspage
These Product-Specific Terms apply to subscriptions of any edition of Statuspage pursuant to Customer’s Atlassian Subscription Agreement (or preceding form of agreement into which these Product-Specific Terms are incorporated) (“Agreement”). Capitalized terms used but not defined in these Product-Specific Terms have the meanings set out in the Agreement.
1. Contracting Party. Dogwood Labs, Inc., d/b/a Statuspage.io is the contracting party for Statuspage and is deemed “Atlassian” for purposes of these Product-Specific Terms.
2. Documentation. The Documentation for Statuspage is currently located at https://help.statuspage.io/help/statuspage-user-guide.
3. Status Pages and Scope of Use. Statuspage enables Customer to create pages hosted by Statuspage that display both current and historical status and uptime information of Customer’s products and services, while also allowing Users to subscribe to status notifications (“Status Pages”). There are different types of Status Pages, which include Audience-Specific Pages, Private Pages and Public Pages and different types of plans for each Status Page, each of which has different parameters for defining Customer’s Scope of Use.
4. Status Page Configuration and Attribution. Customer may be permitted to configure its Status Pages by including its company name, brand, logo or other trademarks, as well as images and other look-and-feel elements and any links/permissions required in connection with collection of Statuspage End Users’ information or acknowledgment that the Statuspage End Users are subscribing to status notifications (collectively, “Customer Configurations”). Customer is responsible for Customer Configurations as “Customer Data” under the Agreement. Customer agrees not to remove, disable, or obscure the “Powered by Statuspage” hyperlink or any other attribution Atlassian designates on a Status Page without first obtaining Atlassian’s consent to do so in writing.
5. Collection of Statuspage End User Information. Statuspage allows Customer to collect information from Statuspage End Users (including Statuspage End User email addresses and phone numbers) in order to send Statuspage End Users status notifications. Any information collected about Customer’s Statuspage End Users is deemed “Customer Data” under the Agreement, and as such must be collected in accordance with Customer’s applicable privacy policies.
6. Definitions. The following terms have the meanings set forth below and may appear in Customer’s Order to define Customer’s scope of use and related fees:
- a. “Audience-Specific Page” is a Status Page that is seen only by stakeholders designated by Customer to have access to relevant components within a Status Page.
- b. “Metric” means a performance metric that is displayed to Statuspage End Users on a Status Page.
- c. “Notification” means an email, SMS, or webhook status notification describing the current status displayed on a Status Page. Notifications may be sent to Statuspage End Users of any type of Status Page.
- d. “Private Page” is a Status Page used to communicate information to Customer's designated internal stakeholders (such as Customer’s employees, administrators, agents, and contractors).
- e. “Public Page” is a Status Page used to communicate information to Customer’s external stakeholders (such as customers).
- f. “Statuspage End User” means an individual external or internal stakeholder who views a Status Page. Statuspage End Users are Customer’s “Users” under the Agreement. The different types of Statuspage End Users include:
- i. An “Audience-Specific User” is a Statuspage End User whom Customer designates as having password-protected access to an Audience-Specific Page. A group of Audience-Specific Users that Customer designates to have access to a particular Audience-Specific Page is a “Group.”
- ii. An “Employee” is a Statuspage End User whom Customer designates to view a Private Page.
- iii. A “Subscriber” is a Statuspage End User of a Status Page who subscribes to receive Notifications for such Status Page.
