Rovo FAQs
Billing & Subscriptions
To help administrators manage multiple Atlassian cloud products and sites centrally, we created a global administration layer called organizations. Through your organization, you can begin managing every user in your company who has access to an Atlassian cloud product and a specific domain or domains in their Atlassian account email address (for example, jane@yourcompany.com). When you’ve verified your domain and your organization directory is populated, you can then enable Atlassian Rovo at the organization and site level. |
Once an organization admin activates Rovo on a site, all users on that site will have access to Rovo and be charged as a unique billable user. When calculating unique billable users, we will only count a user once, even if the user has access to multiple sites with Rovo enabled, and regardless of how many products are on the site. Keep in mind that all unique users of any new product you add to a Rovo-activated site will count towards your Rovo bill. For example, adding a new employee to Jira on a Rovo activated site will automatically count toward your Rovo bill as a billable user. This includes adding unique users to free versions of Jira, Jira Service Management, or Confluence, only if those products are on sites with Rovo activated. Use the pricing calculator on the Rovo pricing page to determine the estimated price of your subscription. Simply enter the number of users you have and choose a billing cycle (annual or monthly). We offer annual subscriptions for Rovo based on a distinct tier. These subscriptions allow you to license any number of unique billable users up to a predetermined user threshold without increasing your price. Depending on the number of users purchased, annual subscriptions may be a better value. Contact our sales team for annual pricing or custom pricing for greater than 250 users. |
Rovo pricing depends on the number of unique billable users, and whether you choose to pay monthly or annually. To get an idea of what Rovo might cost for your organization, use our pricing calculator. |
To ensure optimal performance and fair usage across all users, Rovo has two limit types, objects and requests, each with different limits. For a limited time, users have access within the Atlassian Acceptable Use Policy. In future, usage beyond the stated limits will incur additional charges based on consumption. At that time, organization admins will have tools to monitor and manage consumption and may be able to purchase additional capacity. For more information please review our Rovo Usage Limits documentation. |

Trial Rovo
As Rovo is an organization-wide cloud subscription, you must be an organization administrator to sign up for a trial. Follow these steps to get started with Atlassian Rovo:
Our free trial lets you try Rovo for any of your existing Atlassian sites at no cost for 30 days. Cancel any time, no payment information required. |
The organization admin(s) can add credit card or PayPal account details at any point during the trial. If you already have added payment information and do not cancel before the end of the trial, you will be signed up for a monthly subscription, following the 30-day trial. When the trial ends, the card on file will be automatically charged for the next month's subscription. If you wish to pay annually, you can contact us and we will provide you with a quote that you can pay for by credit card, bank transfer, or check. If we do not receive payment, shortly after the end of the trial we will unsubscribe you from Atlassian Rovo. This means you will no longer have access to Rovo capabilities, including Rovo Search, Chat, and Agents. |
